Cabinet Components manufacture flat pack kitchens & joinery for the Sunshine Coast.

Our 30 years experience in the high end joinery industry allows us to offer custom options that usually are not available in the flat-pack cabinetry market. 

Among these are special required cut outs for vents or access panels, mitred angle handle details with integrated shadow lines, split pantry units for ease of transport and installation process and of course custom hardware drilling to suit our clients individual design needs. 

We produce high quality CNC routered flat pack board materials which are edged with the latest technology edge banding machines, resulting in inconspicuous edge glue lines.

By keeping all our tooling sharp and machines continuously maintained, the end result speaks for itself. 

During the manufacture process our quality control is of highest priority, to ensure all products and components are packed ready for dispatch. 

We also offer a courtesy trailer service for the Sunshine Coast region.

 

Flatpack cutting processing steps:

 

1. Cabinet makers order lists have been received and all information is entered into our software system.

2. Board materials are ordered and unloaded via forklift and transferred to CNC scissor lift.

3. Automated loading station slides the boards onto the flat bed nesting machine.

4. The CNC drill gets into action by drilling all constructions holes for hinges, cams, drawer runners and shelf supports.

5. In this step the CNC router picks up the correct cutter from the tool carousel and starts routing all parts out as per G-Code.

6. The vacuum pumps hold all pieces down in place until the cutting process is finished. 

7. The machine unloads the precision cut pieces and they get unloaded onto the conveyor table. 

8. From there the unique parts stickers are printed and the operator applies these to each piece.

9. The tradesman feeds all parts through the edge banding machine,  which applies the colour matching tapes with hotmelt glue. 

10. All flat pack components are quality checked before loaded on custom dispatch pallets ready for pick up.
